Bright House Networks named one of Top 100 Companies for Working Families for the 16th year in a row

Maitland, FL--Bright House Networks was named one of the Top 100 Companies for Working Families, achieving a rank of 11th in the "250 employees or more" category at a ceremony held Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, in Orlando.

The award was made to Bright House Networks as part of 16th annual Top 100 Companies for Working Families contest in Central Florida, which is coordinated by the Orlando Sentinel's Marketing Department.

Bright House Networks has been a Top 100 honoree for the past 16 years, and for the past five years in a row has been recognized as part of the elite group of 25 companies with the highest rankings based on a number of family and employee-friendly benefits. Each year, the Top 100 Companies for Working Families contest judges determine the Top 100 Companies for Working Families by measuring the strength of each company's family-related benefits against the quantity of those benefits.

To be considered for an award, the Top 100 applicants must submit answers to a series of questions to determine what benefits are provided in the categories of core benefits, family-related benefits, work environment, communication, and training. Applications are then scored on a point basis, with the Top 50 companies in the "249 employees or less" and the "250 employees or more" categories making up the Top 100 Companies for Working Families final award list.

This year, Bright House Networks is ranked 11th overall among the Top 50 companies in the "250 or more" employees category.
