Bright House Networks Receives Two Florida Golden Image Awards for Public Awareness Campaign Announcing New Channels

Maitland, FL--Bright House Networks Central Florida Division received two statewide Golden Image Awards from the Florida Public Relations Association recognizing the company’s awareness campaign which promoted the addition of 14 new channels to its programming lineup.

The Golden Image Awards competition is held annually by the Florida Public Relations Association to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism.

Bright House Networks received an Award of Distinction and a Judge’s Award “for achieving maximum results while using a minimum amount of money” in the company’s “14 Channels in 14 Days” launch campaign that took place in February 2009. Entries in the statewide Golden Image Awards program were judged by public relations professionals from the Georgia State FPRA organization and winners were announced during a special banquet held Tues., Aug. 11, 2009, at the organization’s annual convention held in Boca Raton.

Bright House Networks had already received a local FPRA Golden Image Award in April 2009 from the organization’s Orlando Chapter for the “14 Channels in 14 Days” launch campaign that introduced the latest High Definition and Digital channels using traditional and new media tactics.
