Here’s Important New Information About Your TV Service.

You may have extra time to prepare for the country’s transition to Digital Television. Congress has moved the last date for broadcast stations to transition from its original date of February 17th, 2009 to June 12th, 2009. Broadcast stations in the Central Florida area may, however, transition as early as February 17th anyway.

That means there’s still time for you or anyone you know using a TV with rabbit ear or other antennas to get ready, but you should act now.

If you’re not a Bright House Networks cable customer, let us make the transition easy for you. Any TV connected to our cable lines will ensure you receive the TV programming you’ve always enjoyed.

If you are a Bright House Networks customer, you’re already set for the transition in June 2009 as long as your TVs are plugged into our cable lines.

What is DTV and why is this change happening?

DTV is a new type of broadcasting technology that changes the way people watch TV, with dramatically better picture and sound quality than the older analog technology. DTV also serves an important public function—freeing up valuable airwaves space for first responders like police and fire departments. The DTV transition takes place on June 12, 2009, as required by the Federal Communications Commission.

What do you need to know about DTV?

We’re making the digital TV transition easy for our customers.
